Giving back
Community isn’t a side project. It’s a pillar.
Building stronger communities through homeownership means showing up for the places our clients call home, long after the closing table. Here’s where the 7z Realty Team puts its time, money and heart: kids, mentors, and the schools at the center of our neighborhoods.
Back-to-School Blessings
No kid should walk into a classroom without the supplies they need to succeed.
Back-to-School Blessings was founded by our own Cheyanne Hill, on one simple idea.
Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons: the small stuff makes a huge difference in how a student shows up on day one. Cheyanne didn’t wait for someone else to solve that problem. She built the thing. And every year it grows, because families in this community keep showing up for each other.
We’re proud to have her on the 7z Team, and proud to stand behind this work. A teacher’s job gets easier. A parent’s stress gets lighter. A kid gets to feel ready.
That’s the kind of impact we want our name attached to.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Norman
Changing the trajectory of kids’ lives, one relationship at a time.

Giving back isn’t something we fit in when business slows down. It’s built into who we are.
Our team was at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Gala in Norman, and Jon had the honor of being invited to emcee the entire evening. Cheyanne was there too, cheering on an organization that changes kids’ lives one relationship at a time.
Here’s what we believe at 7z: real estate isn’t just transactions. It’s neighborhoods, schools, ball fields, and the people who show up for each other. The same communities we help families buy into are the ones we owe our time, our energy and our support.
Nights like this are a reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters for the work you do every single day, and for letting us be a small part of it.
Become a Big
Ever thought about mentoring a child? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Norman is always looking for caring adults to show up for a kid in their community. We’d love to point you in the right direction.
Learn about becoming a Big
We came from the classroom. We haven’t forgotten it.
Jon spent his career as a music teacher, and Meagan still teaches high school English. We know what teachers give, and how much strong schools mean to a community.
So we’re always looking for ways to support our schools, in ways large and small. Most recently, the 7z Team provided dinner for the teachers at Wheeler Middle School in Oklahoma City during parent-teacher conferences, one less thing to worry about on a long night.
Know a school or group of teachers we should support? Tell us.
